Microsoft SharePoint Online: New feedback button

Microsoft SharePoint Online: New feedback button

Microsoft SharePoint Online is introducing a new feedback button that allows users to submit suggestions, compliments, and problems about SharePoint features and functionality. The feedback icon will be visible on SharePoint sites, and Microsoft will review all feedback submitted by customers to improve products and troubleshoot issues. Feedback collection is turned on by default, but it can be disabled using the Cloud Policy service for Microsoft 365 in the Microsoft 365 Apps admin center. The rollout is expected to start in mid-March 2024 for Targeted Release and mid-April 2024 for Worldwide. This move is aimed at improving Microsoft products and providing better user experiences.

If you are a SharePoint user, you will see the feedback icon on your SharePoint sites, which can help you submit feedback, compliments, or report problems associated with SharePoint features and functionality. All feedback submitted will be reviewed by Microsoft, and its implementation will help in enhancing the customer experience. Your organization needs to be aware that the feedback collection is turned on by default, but it can be turned off through the Cloud Policy service in Microsoft 365 Apps admin center.

This change reflects Microsoft's efforts to provide better products and services to its customers by improving user experience and addressing issues in their products effectively.
