Microsoft Teams: Personalize group chats with avatars
Microsoft Teams is now allowing group chat members to customize avatars with personal images or built-in emojis to add inclusivity and expression to their chats. This feature will also enable users to visually identify chats with similar titles or participants. The rollout for this feature will begin in mid-March 2024 and is expected to be completed by late March 2024 for Microsoft Teams worldwide, GCC, GCC High, and DoD. Users can upload their own images or select from a range of new avatars and emojis. No action is required to prepare for this change, however, it may be beneficial to inform users about this change and update relevant documentation.
