Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Whiteboard can be added to Mesh event

Microsoft Teams Mesh event attendees can now leverage the capabilities of Microsoft Whiteboard within the Mesh 3D environment. Using avatars, users can collaborate on a 2D whiteboard present in the virtual space, available on PC and Meta Quest devices. Inking, annotation, and other built-in tools can be used by attendees to brainstorm, plan, and share in real-time with others on a digital canvas. Copilot integration helps suggest and organize ideas directly on the canvas while in Mesh. This new addition will enhance spatial collaboration and make it even easier to work together in virtual environments.

This feature is now generally available on Desktop and Cloud instances worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) as of November CY2024. Microsoft's roadmap ID for this feature is 412075, accessible through this link:
