Microsoft Viva: Topics in Teams Channels
Microsoft Viva is expanding its Viva Topics integration with Microsoft Teams to include channels within Teams. With this new integration, team members will be able to mention topics and see corresponding topic cards within a particular channel, allowing for a more intuitive and approachable Topics experience. This expansion, which follows the earlier rollout of Viva Topics integrations with Teams chats, brings the power of Topics into the spaces where team members regularly collaborate.
This change is currently in preview and is scheduled for release in March 2023, with the preview phase beginning in December 2022. The expansion will be available on both desktop and cloud platforms, with a worldwide multi-tenant instance, as well as the GCC.
