Microsoft Copilot Studio: Deliver rich interactive app experiences in Copilot Studio agents
Copilot Studio agents can now render rich, interactive UI inline using MCP Apps, an extension of the Model Context Protocol. When an agent calls a UI-enabled tool from a compatible MCP server, interactive experiences like sortable tables and drilldowns render directly in the conversation. Users can now explore and act on data without leaving the chat or switching tools. A plain-text fallback keeps the agent working on surfaces that can’t render the UI, and makers get this simply by connecting a compliant MCP server.
