New Feature: Alerts for Windows Autopatch policy conflicts Public Preview announcement

IT administrators can now take advantage of added functionality in the Windows Autopatch service through a new feature with public preview availability. Specifically, this feature enables admins to identify and resolve Intune policy conflicts related to the Windows Autopatch service. IT managers will be able to view, review, and resolve conflicts that arise when the Windows Autopatch service encounters policies in the tenant that conflict with a setting in another Intune device policy. Admins can view all Autopatch policies that conflict with other device policies in the tenant and receive alerts for any conflicts that arise every 24 hours until resolved. For IT managers, this feature should streamline the process of identifying and resolving conflicts that may arise related to this service, requiring manual resolution when required. The public preview will launch on January 22, 2024. No action is required to prepare for this new feature, but admins with questions or concerns can file a service request via the Microsoft Intune admin center.
