Microsoft Places app ON by default

Microsoft is set to release an update that will place the Microsoft Places app on by default, ensuring ease of coordination between users during in-office days. The app can be accessed via web, Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 app, with added features for Teams Premium users such as Team Guidance and Places Explorer. Admins will have to set up policies and configure access to ensure a seamless user experience. The update will begin rolling out in early December 2024, and it is advisable for admins to take necessary steps to prepare for the rollout.
