Microsoft Teams: Meeting participants time zone
This post discusses a new feature in Microsoft Teams that will be rolled out in 2024. Currently, the scheduling form in Microsoft Teams does not display time zones or work hours of attendees, which can make it challenging for organizers to schedule a meeting. However, this new feature will enable meeting organizers to view the time zone for all attendees in the scheduling form of the scheduling assistant, thereby removing the ambiguity and making it easier to schedule meetings. This feature is part of Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 123963.
This roll-out is expected to occur in early February 2024, and the upgrade will be completed by late April 2024. There is no need to take any specific action to be prepared for this change, although users may want to be notified of this upcoming feature and update any relevant documentation accordingly.
