Power Fx: Open source now available
The preview release of Microsoft Power Fx, an Excel-like, low-code programming language, is now freely available as open source on GitHub. This powerful tool empowers users to integrate it into their own projects and enjoy its easy functionality. With the availability of Power Fx, developers can now create powerful application logic using intuitive syntax, without having to learn complex programming languages such as C# or JavaScript.
Now that it is open source, Microsoft aims to turn Power Fx into a collaborative project, as it already has a vibrant community of contributors across various platforms. It features a simple syntax, vast expression library, and ecosystem of dependencies that allow it to integrate natively with Microsoft cloud services such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
This step further encourages innovation among the developer community, by allowing seamless access to an intuitive, sophisticated, and reliable programming language. Programmers can now leverage the platform to create a wide range of powerful applications with greater ease and accuracy, as they enjoy the benefits of real-time collaboration with others from around the world.
So if you are a developer looking for a simple yet powerful tool for your next project, take a look at Power Fx and its open source availability on GitHub.
