Microsoft 365 Groups Connected Viva Goals Teams

In a bid to save time and enhance productivity, Microsoft is launching a new team set-up experience for Viva Goals. This experience will allow end-users to leverage their existing Microsoft 365 groups to create teams easily. By doing so, team owners can tap into policy settings and group membership used by Teams, SharePoint, and other cloud applications. With the Microsoft 365 group-connected Viva Goals Teams experience, users can set their team's Viva Goals content as restricted to protect their OKRs from unintended access.

IT and org admins stand to benefit from the seamless lifecycle and governance policies of Microsoft 365 group, as Team owners of these connected teams will ensure that the group is in compliance with tenant-level policies to keep the Viva Goals teams active.
