Updates to Viva Insights Teams and Web App

Microsoft has announced updates to the Viva Insights app in Teams and on Microsoft365.com, including the consolidation of the app into four tabs: Home, Wellbeing, Productivity, and Teamwork. The update also includes changes to the user interface, enhanced navigation experience and new insights and recommendations for managers. In addition, some functionality from the retired MyAnalytics dashboard will be brought over, while there will be changes to how teams are defined and users will no longer be able to create or modify teams from within the app. The changes are due to be rolled out worldwide by April 2023, with a targeted release set for March 2023.

This update aims to make it easier for users to discover and use features, and managers can find relevant team insights that are integrated across all four tabs, giving them a better view of work patterns and insights. With a redesign of the Viva Insights app, including content brought over from Stay connected, Effective meetings, Inspiration library, Protect time, Organization trends, and Teamwork habits, this aims to provide a better experience for users.
