Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Email signature exclusion

Microsoft Purview's compliance portal has introduced a new feature that enables a more efficient handling of false alerts in Insider Risk Management. With this update, admins can exclude images in signatures from being treated as attachments, which will reduce the number of false alert signals generated in Insider Risk Management. Insider Risk Management leverages signals from various sources to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks to information security. This helps customers create policies that manage security and compliance. The product is built with privacy in mind and features role-based access controls, audit logs, and pseudonymization of user data. The feature is set to become generally available in September CY2023 and will be available on web and cloud platforms. This update is roadmapped on ID 164871.
