Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Chat: Improved Context IQ menu for better Copilot results

Microsoft is set to release an upgraded version 2 of the Context IQ menu for Microsoft 365 Copilot Business Chat, which will provide users with better search performance and a more intuitive interaction, improving the overall user experience. The new feature will allow users to attach data sources they need for their Copilot prompts without leaving the BizChat experience. This upgrade will enhance reliability and increase user satisfaction, making responses more accurate, specific, and useful. The rollout will commence in mid-December 2024 and complete by mid-January 2025, and the feature will be on by default. Most capabilities of Context IQ menu v2 are the same as Context IQ menu v1, but users will be able to search for more data sources, including people, files, meetings, and emails from the tabs on the menu or upload files from their local drives. Users can access the new Context IQ menu by entering the forward slash symbol or selecting the Add content button.
