More Layout Options and Yammer Card Content for the Feed Web Part for Viva Connections

This post discusses updates for the Feed web part in Viva Connections, which aggregates organizational communications content from SharePoint, Yammer, and Stream into a single personalized feed. The updates include a new vertical layout option for the web part to provide greater flexibility when adding it to SharePoint pages, and new types of Yammer content that will be displayed as cards in the feed. The new cards from Yammer will help connect and engage an organization through free-form user-generated content (Storylines), personalized messaging and gratitude (Praise), and routing questions to subject matter experts (Questions and Answers).

The new web part layout is an optional setting that won't impact existing web parts, and the new Yammer content doesn't require any set up. The updates will rollout by mid-November and become available to all customers by late November. Organizations that manage Viva Connections and employee experience may consider sharing this information with their people.
