Microsoft 365 Copilot will soon offer AI-generated audio overviews for Word documents, PDF files, and Teams meeting recordings stored in OneDrive. This feature requires a Copilot license and will be available globally from early to late May 2025. Users can choose between summary and podcast styles for the audio overviews. Coming soon: With the new Generate an audio overview option, users can listen to AI-generated audio overviews that summarize or discuss the contents of Microsoft Word documents, PDF files, and Microsoft Teams meeting recordings with transcripts that are stored in OneDrive. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to access this feature. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 478649. When this will happen: General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early May 2025 and expect to complete by late May 2025.
