PowerPoint Live in Teams: Magnify Slide

PowerPoint Live in Teams: Magnify Slide

If you're presenting a PowerPoint deck via PowerPoint Live in a Microsoft Teams meeting, you can now use the Magnify Slide feature to privately zoom into the presentation without affecting how the presenter or other meeting attendees view the slides. The magnification maintains the full fidelity of the slide content and gives meeting attendees a better view of the presentation. Users can access the Magnify Slide feature by using the +/- buttons in the (…) menu, the Plus/Minus keys or Shift + Plus/Shift + Minus keys on the keyboard, pinching or stretching on the trackpad while hovering over the slide, pinching or stretching on the slide using a touch screen-enabled device, or using Ctrl + mouse wheel scroll while hovering over the slide.

This feature will start rolling out in mid-November and reach GA by early December, so organizations should inform their users about the availability of this functionality and update their training documentation accordingly.

Overall, the Magnify Slide feature provides an excellent way to enhance user experience during PowerPoint presentations over Teams, and it's sure to be a valuable tool for users who want to get a closer view of presentation content.
