Microsoft 365 Copilot: Draft Outlook emails directly in Copilot Chat on mobile

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat on mobile will embed an Outlook email draft experience, allowing users to draft, review, and open emails in Outlook Mobile seamlessly. This feature, enabled by default, rolls out worldwide from mid-August to mid-September 2026 with no admin action required. We’re improving the Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat experience by making it easier for users to draft emails directly from Copilot. When Copilot detects an email-writing intent, it will display an embedded Outlook draft within Copilot Chat. Users can review drafted content and open the draft directly in Outlook Mobile to edit and send. This update streamlines a common workflow within the Copilot Chat experience. Users will be able to review the generated email draft without leaving Copilot Chat:  View image in new tab Users can open the draft in Outlook Mobile to continue editing and send the email:  View image in new tab The feature will be enabled by default for eligible users. You may wish to inform users that email drafts generated in Copilot Chat on mobile can now be viewed directly within the Copilot experience before being opened in Outlook Mobile for editing and sending.
