PowerPoint: Copilot generates a new presentation in a new file when starting from an existing presentation

PowerPoint’s Copilot will create new presentations in a separate file when starting from an existing one, preserving the original. This feature requires a Microsoft 365 license and will roll out to Desktop in late April 2025, and to Mac and Web by early June 2025. Update training and documentation accordingly. Coming Soon: In Microsoft PowerPoint when creating a presentation using Microsoft Copilot from an existing presentation, it will create the new presentation in a new file without affecting the original presentation.  A Microsoft 365 license is required to access this Copilot feature.   This message refers to PowerPoint for Windows desktop and Web.
