Microsoft Teams: In form meeting option updates for webinars and townhalls
Microsoft Teams users are about to receive a much-needed upgrade in their meeting options for events such as webinars and townhalls. Previously, configuring these options required users to visit a web page after creating the event. However, to improve the user experience, Teams will now allow meeting options to be configured within the app prior to event creation, granting greater flexibility. The change is expected to roll out in early February 2024 for Targeted Release and by mid to late February 2024 for Standard Release and GCC. Users will no longer be redirected to a web page for editing; instead, an inline window will appear within the scheduling form. No action is needed to prepare for this change, but relevant documentation may need to be updated.
Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Teams and ensure that your organization doesn't miss a beat.
