Publishing new InfoPath Forms in SharePoint Online will not be allowed for inactive tenants in this December

Microsoft will be preventing the publication of new InfoPath Forms in SharePoint Online for inactive tenants from December 2024 as part of the deprecation process ending on July 14, 2026. However, existing forms will remain usable. InfoPath Forms Service is being deprecated and will be removed from existing tenants after July 14, 2026. Tenants should assess the impact and consider modern alternatives such as Power Apps, Power Automate, or Microsoft Forms. This proactive action aims to reduce migration effort, in anticipation of the retirement of the service. It is recommended to run the Microsoft 365 Assessment tool and use the Power BI InfoPath Report to confirm no active usage of the InfoPath forms service because if active usage is detected, the issue should be raised with the support engineer for further assistance. Use of modern solutions such as Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate or Microsoft Forms is suggested for the form scenario in your organization.
