Microsoft Bookings – Old Web Version Will Be Retired on November 14

Microsoft has announced that it will retire the old version of Microsoft Bookings by November 14, 2022. The new version, launched last year with many new features, will become the default experience for all users. Users still on the old version will be migrated to the new version automatically after November 14, but there will be no impact or data loss for organizations without any users on the old version. To prepare for the retirement, admins are advised to ask their users to switch to the new version and update training documentation as necessary.
For those not familiar with Microsoft Bookings, it is a web-based appointment and scheduling application that is part of the Microsoft 365 Suite of products and is available through most commercial SKUs. The retirement of the old version will help ensure all users have access to the latest and greatest features of this powerful tool.
