User settings usability improved with a new “Account” settings category in Outlook on the web

User settings usability improved with a new “Account” settings category in Outlook on the web

In an effort to improve the usability of user settings, Outlook on the web is introducing a new "Account" settings category. This category will include settings such as Automatic Replies, Email Signatures, Categories, Mobile Devices, and Storage. Rollout is set to begin in late August 2024 for Targeted Release and late September 2024 for General Availability. Users will be able to view and manage their account details, including subscription details for Microsoft 365 and Copilot for Consumer Outlook accounts.

To access your account details, navigate to the Settings icon and select "Account", then choose "Manage". The Account page can be accessed again by selecting "Return to account page" at the bottom of the screen. Organizations may need to update their training and documentation to reflect these changes. Overall, this change aims to increase the efficiency and accessibility of user settings in Outlook on the web.
