Keeping track of new and updated features and changes in Microsoft 365 can be overwhelming. To make it easier for you, Microsoft is introducing a release status for each new and updated feature announcement in Message center, allowing you to track feature availability in your organization. Scheduled, Rolling out, and Launched will be the three release statuses available in the "Status for your org." field on each applicable message, updated over the lifecycle of the feature release.
This feature will initially roll out for a limited number of Microsoft Teams, Outlook on the web and Microsoft 365 admin center feature announcements by mid-December 2022 for targeted release, and mid-April 2023 for standard release. Note that the release status will only be available for generally available new and updated features that are also announced on the Microsoft 365 Public Roadmap.
Stay up-to-date on feature release status changes by checking for updates on the original Message center post. Additionally, filtering capability on the "Status for your org." field will allow easier visibility on the updated release status, and the release status will sync to Microsoft Planner notes if Planner sync is turned on in Message center. It is also recommended that you update your training and documentation as appropriate.
