Microsoft OneNote: CSV and TSV references in Copilot Notebooks
Microsoft OneNote now supports using CSV and TSV files as knowledge sources in Copilot Notebooks, enhancing content generation with structured data. The feature is globally available since mid-October 2026, requires no user action, and automatically enables for tenants with existing CSV/TSV Copilot permissions. We are introducing support for using CSV and TSV files as knowledge sources in Microsoft Copilot Notebooks. This enhancement allows users to add structured lists and tabular data directly to notebooks alongside existing document types. By including CSV and TSV content as reference material, Copilot can generate more relevant and informed outputs such as presentations, reports, briefs, and other content grounded in both structured and unstructured data. Rollout schedule Public Preview (Worldwide): Rollout has completed. General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout began in mid-October 2026 and is expected to complete by late October 2026.
