New Service Plan: People Skills (Advanced)

A new service plan, People Skills (Advanced), will be added to Microsoft 365 licenses, enabling AI-powered skills-based experiences. It helps identify skill gaps and promotes upskilling. The rollout begins in late May 2025, with availability starting in late June. Ensure the service plan is enabled. You will soon see a new service plan associatedwith your Microsoft 365 Copilot or Viva license: People Skills (Advanced). A new service plan, People Skills (Advanced), will be added to your Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license. This service plan enables you to set up People Skills, an AI-powered service that delivers personalized skills-based experiences across Microsoft 365. Using advanced inferencing, it helps organizations identify skill gaps and promote upskilling. With People Skills, individuals can easily share a current view of their skills and more easily connect with others. People Skills data enriches people-based experiences in Microsoft 365 Copilot and in the Microsoft 365 profile card and editor. Review MC1060842 to learn more about People Skills in our General Availability announcement. When this will happen: We will begin rolling late May 2025.
