Cloud IntelliFrame: A New Way to See People in Teams Rooms
Microsoft is set to introduce Cloud IntelliFrame, a new feature that improves the online meeting experience across Teams Rooms by creating smart video feeds of the people in the room. This feature uses intelligent zooming and noise reduction technology to enhance the clarity of in-room participants' expressions and gestures, making collaboration in hybrid meetings more effective. Cloud IntelliFrame will roll out across Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows with Pro license, which can be viewed on Microsoft Teams Desktop (Windows & Mac) with any license. It will automatically be enabled for all Teams Rooms equipped with supported cameras. Attendees can turn it off using the in-meeting settings or right-clicking on the video tile. This feature enhances the hybrid meeting experience, creating equity in hybrid meetings as everyone can be seen and heard. The rollout is expected to begin in mid-August and complete by early September.
