Microsoft Teams: Ability to block Attendee Emails from Teams Town Halls
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature which enables organizers of town halls to block sending attendee emails from Microsoft Teams. This feature is aimed to enhance the privacy and security of attendees. It is expected to be released sometime in May CY2024 to the worldwide standard multi-tenant cloud instance of Mac platform. This feature was announced on April 13, 2024 and has been assigned the roadmap ID 393227 on the Microsoft 365 roadmap.
To sum up, the latest update in Microsoft Teams offers enhanced privacy and security for attendees by allowing the blocking of attendee emails.
