Microsoft Teams: Ability to block Attendee Emails from Teams Webinars

Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature that allows organizers of webinars to block the sending of attendee emails from Teams. This feature aims to protect attendee data privacy by preventing the sharing of email addresses without their consent. The feature is available on both desktop and cloud platforms and is set to launch in May CY2024. The platform has created a roadmap ID 392826 for the feature.

If you're an organizer of Teams webinars, this new capability allows you to protect the privacy of attendees and ensure that their email addresses are not shared without consent. Additionally, it's a step towards enhancing data security and privacy.
