Planner: Baseline with Task level variance

Planner: Baseline with Task level variance

If you're looking to stay on top of your project's progress, this update to Microsoft Planner has got you covered. With the ability to capture a baseline of your plan, you can now view plan and task-level variances to get a clear idea of whether your project is on track or delayed. This feature makes it easier to identify potential trouble spots before they become major issues.

The Planner: Baseline with Task level variance is currently in the Release phase and is set for General Availability in November CY2024. This feature is available on the web and cloud platform for both GCC and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) instances and was created on September 7th, 2024.

If you're eager to get your hands on this powerful new tool, head on over to the Microsoft 365 roadmap ID 414530 to learn more.
