Microsoft Project: Additional capabilities for Microsoft 365 users in Microsoft Project for the web
Microsoft Project for the web is getting an upgrade for Microsoft 365 users. Previously, users with Microsoft 365 licenses could only view projects shared with them by Project users. With this update, however, Microsoft 365 users can now edit shared projects, enabling easier collaboration with Project users. This new feature applies to projects created within the default environment, such as through project.microsoft.com, and allows Microsoft 365 users access to any area where Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project for the web overlap. The upgrade will be available on the web cloud platform and is slated for General Availability in December CY2023.
