Microsoft Removes Exchange Online User Photo Cmdlets

Microsoft announced that they will deprecate the user photo cmdlets from Exchange Online from October 30, 2023. Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK cmdlets replace the EXO cmdlets because user photo data is stored in Entra ID. Although inconvenient for those who need to update scripts, this is part of an effort to rationalize how Microsoft 365 handles user profile information.
