Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Referenced sources are cited in drafted content

Microsoft Copilot, a powerful tool in Microsoft 365, now includes citations in generated text that are based on referenced sources. These citations indicate references to specific information included in the content. This feature was released in March CY2025 in the General Availability phase for both Desktop and Cloud Platform. The tool is available worldwide across a Standard Multi-Tenant. This feature is expected to be available by 2024-12-07, with the Roadmap ID being 380842.
