End of support for OneDrive sync app on Windows 10 22H1 and earlier
Microsoft will end OneDrive sync app updates on Windows 10 version 22H1 and earlier starting August 15, 2026. Devices on 22H2 or later will continue receiving updates until October 10, 2028. Users should upgrade to Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11 to maintain full support and functionality. What and Why: Microsoft is ending OneDrive sync app updates on devices running Windows 10 version 22H1 and earlier. Beginning in August 2026, those devices will no longer receive OneDrive sync app feature updates, bug fixes, or security updates. This change aligns OneDrive support with the Windows lifecycle policy and helps Microsoft focus ongoing investments on supported operating systems.
