Microsoft Viva Pulse: Admins can configure access to Pulse templates for Microsoft 365 Copilot licensed users
Admins can configure access to new Microsoft Viva Pulse templates for Microsoft 365 Copilot licensed users. This feature, available from late March to mid-April 2025, allows admins to manage template access and review content. No action is required before the rollout, but reviewing configurations and notifying users is recommended. As communicated in MC948979 Microsoft Viva Pulse experience will be included with Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription (December 2024), Microsoft Viva Pulse authors can use new templates specific toMicrosoft 365 Copilot Readiness, Adoption, and Impact to measure employeesentiment around their organization’s Copilot adoption. These templates will beavailable as part of your Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription as well. Based on the customer feedback, this rollout introduces the ability for admins to configure who in their tenant will have access to this feature. A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to use this feature. Thismessage applies to Pulse for Windows desktop, Pulse for Mac desktop, Pulse for the web, and Pulse for iOS/Android. When this will happen: General Availability (Worldwide): We began rolling out late March 2025 and expect to complete by mid-April 2025. How this will affect your organization: Admins can create a policy in Microsoft 365 admin center > Viva > Feature Access management > Select the Viva Pulse tab: View image in new tab Tenant admins can review the new templates and questions through the Viva Pulse admin Content management feature and modify or restrict access to the templates and questions as needed. This change will be available by default. What you need to do to prepare: This rollout will happen automatically by the specified dates with no admin action required before the rollout. Review your current configuration to determine the impact for your organization. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation.
