Power Platform admin center – Ask advisor
We are announcing the Ask advisor feature in Power Platform admin center (PPAC). This feature will reach public preview on September 10, 2026. How does this affect me? This feature is an AI assistant that answers natural-language questions about a user’s tenant. Instead of moving between admin center pages to assemble inventory, usage, and governance details, an administrator can ask a question such as “Which apps haven’t been used in the last 30 days?” and Ask advisor gathers the relevant data across environments and returns an answer. Ask advisor appears as a new page under Actions > Overview in the PPAC. Conversations are saved under Chats, where they can be reopened, renamed, or downloaded. This feature is available by default with no setup steps and can only be accessed by a user with a Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Global administrator role. This feature is a preview feature that may process Personal Data. This may include information contained in the administrator’s question and relevant tenant data needed to generate the response, such as resource ownership and usage information. If a user does not want data processed outside the tenant’s data region during preview, do not use Ask advisor. What action do I need to take? This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
