Microsoft Teams: Recommended actions page in the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal

A new Recommended Actions page will be added to the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal’s Analytics & Reports section by late November 2025, providing IT admins with proactive device and account recommendations. It requires Teams Rooms Pro or Shared Devices licenses and offers future space and usage guidance without affecting end users. Introduction: To help IT admins proactively manage Teams Rooms devices and plan for upcoming changes, we’re introducing a new Recommended Actions page in the Analytics & Reports section of the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal. This page provides tailored recommendations based on your organization’s environment and upcoming events—such as support or certification expirations—that may impact device performance. Admins are prompted to update device and account data to unlock richer insights, with space and usage-based guidance coming soon. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 501546. When this will happen: Worldwide and GCC rollout: Begins late October 2025, expected to complete by late November 2025. How this affects your organization: Who is affected: Admins managing Teams Rooms devices with at least one Teams Rooms Pro or Teams Shared Devices license. What will happen: A new Recommended Actions page will appear in the Analytics & Reports section of the portal. Admins will receive proactive recommendations based on device and account data. Guidance based on space and device usage will be added in a future update. No changes to end-user experience. Feature is available by default for tenants with eligible licenses. What you can do to prepare: Ensure your tenant has at least one Teams Rooms Pro or Teams Shared Devices license assigned. No additional configuration is required. Consider reviewing and updating device and room account data to benefit from richer analytics. Compliance considerations: No compliance considerations identified, review as appropriate for your organization. Message ID: MC1154793
