Microsoft Finally Delivers Promised Audit Events to Purview Audit Standard Tenants
Microsoft is set to deliver on their promise of new audit events for Purview Audit standard customers come June 2024. These events are set to enhance the current offering for Exchange Online and other platforms like Teams and SharePoint Online. Among the upcoming audit events for Exchange Online is the famous MailItemsAccessed event.
However, Tenant administrators will be required to validate that mailbox audit configurations are correct. Although this additional step may put a little more work on the administrator's plate, it is crucial for the full functionality and accuracy of the audit events.
If you are a Purview Audit standard customer, keep an eye out for these new audit events and take the necessary steps to optimize them amidst their release.
