Viva Connections “Top News” Card Updated to Include More News Source Options

Viva Connections users, get ready for some exciting updates! The Top News Card is getting a makeover and will now be known as the "News Card," thanks to a new release that introduces more configurability and the ability to create multiple News Card instances. While the default configuration will remain consistent with the Top News Card, there will be greater customization options enabling organizations to tailor the news card to display news from specific sources or a list of chosen sites within your organization, ensuring that end-users stay well-informed.

The updated News Card also allows the creation of multiple card instances with different settings that curate news experiences for various purposes within an organization. For instance, one card named "Top News" could have the default configuration, while another could specifically display HR news from relevant SharePoint sites and a third card for "Leadership News," etc.

If you are an existing user of the Top News Card, it will continue to work without any action required from your side. However, if you want to create multiple instances of the card with different news sources, this update will come in handy.
