Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Limitless Tenant Allow/Block List

Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Limitless Tenant Allow/Block List

Microsoft is updating its Defender for Office 365 security platform to allow customers with MDO P2 or E5 security to create unlimited block and allow entries in sender, URL and file category in Tenant allow/block list. This removes the limit of 500 entries for both allows and blocks previously imposed. The change, which comes into effect in October 2022, applies to all platform SKUs except spoof in Tenant allow/block list, which remains limited to 1024 entries.

For those in the MDO ecosystem, this change will provide greater flexibility and control over tenant allow and block lists in Defender for Office 365.
