Viva Amplify: Publish to Viva Engage Storyline or Communities

Viva Amplify will soon allow campaign members and authors to publish communications directly to Viva Engage Storyline or Communities, with options to preview and customize drafts. Rollout begins mid-March 2025 for Targeted Release and early April 2025 for General Availability. No admin action is required, but user notification and training updates are recommended. For Microsoft Viva Amplify, campaign members and authors will soon have the ability to publish their communications directly to Viva Engage Storyline or Communities. They will be able to preview their communication drafts within Viva Amplify and customize them specifically for the Engage distribution channel. Similar to other distribution channels, they will also be able to view engagement data for their posts directly within their campaign reporting overview. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 185105. When this will happen: Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out mid-March 2025 and expect to complete by late April 2025. General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out early April 2025 and expect to complete by late April 2025. How this will affect your organization: Before this rollout: Users do not have the option to select Viva Engage as distribution channel in Viva Amplify.  After this rollout: Authors creating a publication in Viva Amplify will see Viva Engage as a selected option in the distribution channel list. The author can deselect the channel if they don’t want to include Viva Engage in their channel mix. When selected, they will see a preview of how their communication will be posted in Viva Engage with the option to customize the content specific to the channel, offering the editing capabilities of a Viva Engage Article. They are able to select to post to their storyline or to multiple communities and add people who will find the post helpful or interesting.
