Microsoft Copilot Studio – Create automated copilots triggered by events
We are announcing the create automated copilots triggered by events feature for Copilot Studio. This feature allows you to create autonomous agents that can react to an event such as a table update, a new document, or a newly received email rather than relying on end-user input. This feature will reach general availability on March 24, 2025. How does this affect me? By adding automated triggers to Copilot Studio, you can cause an agent to run independently of end-user input. The agent will respond to events such as an email arriving, a document being created, or a table row being updated, and then follow its user-defined instructions. What do I need to do to prepare?
