Dynamics 365 Field Service – Optimize multiple resources with Scheduling Operations Agent
We are announcing the ability to optimize multiple resources with Scheduling Operations Agent in Dynamics 365 Field Service. This feature will reach public preview on June 30, 2026. How does this affect me? This release expands the optimization capabilities of the Scheduling Operations Agent to include multiple resources, including the availability of the resources, their current schedules, and unscheduled requirements. It suggests a schedule that honors configured constraints and optimizes it according to the selected goal. Dispatchers can review and compare the proposed schedules with the current schedules before applying changes. New capabilities include: Optimize schedules for up to 5 resources directly from the schedule board. Optimize schedules for up to 30 resources using an optimization plan. Create custom goals and weight objectives. Create custom optimization scopes to use with your optimization plans. What action do I need to take? This message is for awareness, and no action is required. If you would like more information on this feature, please visit Optimize multiple resources with Scheduling Operations Agent.
