Microsoft Purview | Compliance Manager – AI Powered Regulatory Templates

Microsoft Purview Compliance Manager will introduce AI Powered Regulatory Templates to convert regulatory PDFs into actionable controls, simplifying compliance assessments. Public preview starts mid-November 2025; general availability begins mid-January 2026. The feature is additive, requires no action to enable, and supports multi-cloud compliance automation. Introduction To help organizations streamline compliance efforts across multi-cloud environments, Microsoft Purview Compliance Manager is introducing AI Powered Regulatory Templates. This feature enables customers to convert complex regulatory PDF documents into actionable controls, making it easier to create assessments, identify compliance gaps, and implement controls. When this will happen: Public Preview: Rollout begins mid-November 2025; expected to complete by end of November 2025. General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout begins mid-January 2026; expected to complete by late January 2026.
