Viva Engage: Notifications Delivery Tracker for immediate Community announcements

Viva Engage: Notifications Delivery Tracker for immediate Community announcements

A Notifications Delivery Tracker for immediate Community announcements in Viva Engage will roll out worldwide in early July 2026. It provides real-time delivery status (preparing, sending, completed) to communicators, enhancing visibility and confidence. No admin action is required; organizations should inform users and update training materials. What and Why: A new Notifications Delivery Tracker is now available for immediate Community announcements in Viva Engage. This capability provides communicators with real-time visibility into the delivery status of announcement notifications—helping ensure critical updates are delivered as expected and improving confidence in communications reach. With this tracker, communicators can monitor when notifications are preparing, sending, and have completed delivery after an announcement is published. Rollout Schedule: General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in early July 2026 and expect to complete by early July 2026. Impact on Your Organization: Who is affected: Communicators and leaders who publish immediate Community announcements in Viva Engage. Platforms/Services: Viva Engage (Community announcements) What will happen: Communicators will have a tracker that shows notification delivery status after an immediate Community announcement is published. The tracker will show statuses such as preparing, sending, and completed delivery. This feature is available only for the immediate Community announcement option. This feature does not include regular Community announcements. Action Required/Recommendations: No admin action is required. We recommend that you: Inform communicators and leaders in your organization about this new visibility feature. Update internal documentation or training materials related to Viva Engage Community announcements (if applicable). Review Conversation Analytics to understand how this feature can support communication effectiveness. Compliance considerations: Compliance Area Explanation Does the change alter how admins can monitor or report on communications effectiveness? The delivery tracker provides additional visibility into the notification delivery lifecycle for immediate announcements, improving reporting confidence but not altering existing compliance reports.
