Viva Glint app for Microsoft Teams: In-app update and refreshed chat experience

The Viva Glint app for Microsoft Teams will be updated in June 2026, refreshing the chat experience and clearing prior bot history upon update. Survey notifications continue regardless of update timing. Admins managing app versions may need to approve the update; most organizations require no action. Introduction We’re releasing an updated version of the Viva Glint app for Microsoft Teams. This update applies only to organizations using the Viva Glint Teams integration and is intended to refresh the in-app experience while maintaining existing survey functionality. When the updated app version becomes available, users may see an in-app banner in Teams prompting them to update the Viva Glint app. If users choose to update, their existing Viva Glint bot chat history in Teams will be cleared and replaced with a new welcome message. This update does not affect survey delivery. Users will continue to receive Viva Glint survey notifications in Teams whether or not they update the app immediately. When this will happen: General Availability (Worldwide, GCC): Rollout begins in early June 2026 and is expected to complete by mid-June 2026.
