Microsoft Outlook: New event duplication capability

Microsoft Outlook is adding a “Duplicate event” feature allowing users to quickly create new events from existing ones without re-entering details. The rollout began in late September 2026 and will complete by late October 2026. No action or compliance concerns are required. We are adding the ability to duplicate an event in Microsoft Outlook. From the event details, users can select Duplicate event to quickly create a new event based on an existing event without re-entering the same details. Rollout schedule General Availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCC High): Rollout began in late September 2026 and is expected to complete by late October 2026. Impact on your organization Who is affected Users who create events in Microsoft Outlook Platforms and services Microsoft Outlook What will happen A new Duplicate event option will appear in Microsoft Outlook event details. Users can quickly create a new event based on an existing event without re-entering the same details. Action required and recommendations No action is required.
