Microsoft Teams: Modernized Gallery view in Teams Rooms on Android

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android will receive a modernized Gallery view in mid-August 2026, aligning it with Windows. Updates include consistent participant tile ratios, video prioritization, stable gallery behavior, and new admin controls. No action is required before rollout; admins can configure settings post-update. We’re introducing a modernized Gallery view experience for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android.
