Power Platform – Recreate connections made to the Azure DevOps connector prior to September 2024
We identified that an app, flow, or agent in your environment utilizes a connection to the Azure DevOps connector that was created prior to September 1, 2024. These connections use a legacy app registration method for authentication, which is being removed. Once removed, any flow, app, or agent using those connections will no longer be able to authenticate. The removal of the legacy app registration method has been started and will be completed by November 30, 2026. What action do I need to take? Identify any Azure DevOps connections in your environment(s) created before September 1, 2024. Once identified take the following actions: Create a new Azure DevOps connection and complete the consent prompt. Update any flows, canvas apps, or agents that reference the old connection to use the new connection. Delete the old connection once no resources in your environment are referencing it. Why is this action needed? Removal of the legacy app registration method will cause any flow, app, or agent utilizing a connection made to the Azure DevOps connector prior to September 1, 2024, to fail to authenticate. If action is not taken, your flows, apps and agents utilizing those connections will stop functioning as expected. Message ID: MC1508508
