Microsoft Teams will allow event organizers to save and reuse custom event templates, including details, participants, branding, and settings, starting June 2026. This feature requires no admin setup and helps ensure consistent event configurations across the organization. No user action is needed. What and Why: Microsoft Teams events will support custom user templates, allowing organizers to save an event configuration and reuse it when creating future events. This reduces repeated setup and helps ensure consistent event configuration and branding across events created in your organization. This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 561915. Rollout Schedule: Targeted Release (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in early June 2026 and expect to complete by late June 2026. General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in late June 2026 and expect to complete by mid-July 2026. Impact on Your Organization: Who is affected: Users who organize and schedule Microsoft Teams events Platforms/Services: Microsoft Teams (events scheduling experience)  What will happen: Organizers can save an existing Teams event as a reusable template. Templates can include event details, participants, branding, and configuration settings. Saved templates can be reused and edited for future events. New events can be created from a predefined configuration. No admin configuration is required. Action Required / Recommendations: No action is required. Consider informing Teams event organizers about this capability. Compliance considerations: Event templates store copies of existing event configuration data for reuse within the tenant.
