Workweek view for Outlook on iOS and iPad

Outlook for iOS and iPad will add a Workweek calendar view by mid-May 2026, allowing users to focus on their workdays. iPad users can select it anytime; iPhone users in landscape mode. Users can customize days shown. No admin action is needed to enable this feature. Outlook for iOS and iPad will soon add a Workweek calendar view so users can focus on the days they work. This view will help reduce calendar clutter and make it easier to plan schedules on mobile devices. When this will happen General Availability (Worldwide, GCC and GCC High): Rollout will begin in mid-April 2026 and is expected to complete by mid-May 2026. How this affects your organization Who is affected Users with Outlook on iOS or iPadOS in Worldwide, GCC, and GCC High tenants What will happen iPad: Users will be able to select Workweek directly from the calendar view picker, alongside Day, Week, and Month views.  View image in new tab iPhone: Users will be able to select Workweek from the calendar view picker in landscape orientation. Workweek configuration: Users will be able to choose which days appear in Workweek by syncing from their default account or by selecting custom days for their device.  View image in new tab What you can do to prepare No admin action will be required to enable this feature. Consider informing helpdesk staff and updating internal user guidance if you document Outlook calendar views. Compliance considerations Question Answer Does the change allow a user to enable and disable the feature themselves? Yes. Users will be able to choose whether to use the Workweek calendar view and change the included days in Outlook settings on their iOS or iPadOS device. No administrator action will be required.
